Aloe vera has been known for its healing properties for at least 6,000 years. Its good for air quality and increases the longevity of your life

These days, aloe has an entire industry behind it. Its juices are used in cosmetics and personal-care products such as moisturizers, soap, shaving cream, and suntan lotion. The aloe vera product that probably comes to mind most easily is the bright green gel that’s stocked on drugstore shelves. 

Aloe vera on its own can taste a little bitter, so many brands will add flavor or sweeteners to the bottle. Take a look at the bottle’s ingredients list to make sure it’s not packed with loads of added sugars.

Aloe vera plant has been linked to many potential benefits, including:

Digestive help Aloe latex contains aloin, which is an anthraquinone that gives aloe vera its laxative properties and may help treat constipation.

Treating skin conditions, such as psoriasis and acne Aloe creams have a calming effect on the skin and have been shown to help reduce itchiness and inflammation.

Sunburn relief Some people swear by aloe to calm a sunburn. You might have experienced the gel’s cooling effect yourself, but the research backing up the claim that it can speed skin recovery is lacking.

Wound healing Aloe gel may help expedite the healing process of burns or cuts on the skin.

Neem tree

In the world of Ayurveda, neem is a popular medicinal herb that’s been part of traditional remedies that date back almost 5000 years.

Here are some excellent ways in which we can use neem leaves:

Wound healer: Make a paste out of the neem leaves and dab it on your wounds or insect bites a few times a day till it heals.

Goodbye dandruff: Boil a bunch of neem leaves till the water turns green, allow it to cool. After washing your hair with shampoo, cleanse it with this water.

Eye Trouble: Boil some neem leaves, let the water cool completely and then use it to wash your eyes. This will help any kind of irritation, tiredness or redness.

Treat that zit: Grind a few neem leaves, make a paste and apply it daily till the acne dries out. The paste also helps any kind of eruptions, dark spots and chronic ulcers.

Ear ailments: Blend some neem leaves and add some honey to it. Use a few drops of this mix to treat any ear boils.

Other skin disorders: Turmeric combined with a paste of neem leaves can also be used for itching, eczema, ring worms and some mild skin diseases.

Boost immunity: Crush some neem leaves and take them with a glass of water to increase your immunity.

Blood and skin cleanser: A clean intestine equals to clear skin. Neem helps inpurifying the blood and eliminating toxins that lead to acne, pimples, eczema, skin rashes and psoriasis.
